Welcome to Kirkley Community Choir… a fun and friendly group set up in 2012 to promote singing and music as something that is fun, inclusive and accessible to everybody and to explore the positive health benefits of singing together.
Our sessions are friendly and informal and we sing all styles and genres of music, including; Musicals, Pop, Soul, Folk, Gospel, Reggae, Disney, Jazz, Rock and Country as well as World repertoire and Festive/Christmas songs.
We have between 30 – 40 members and our sessions cover all styles of music from Pop to Musicals, Golden Oldies to Reggae and Folk to Disney among other genres.
The choir meets at the Kirkley Centre on London Road South in Lowestoft on alternate Wednesday evenings between 7 – 8.30pm. There is currently no charge to attend but we have a suggested donation of £5 per person.
Kirkley Community Choir is suitable for absolute beginners or more advanced singers. New members are always welcome – no experience is necessary and all ages and any abilities are welcome.
